How to create a completed activity from a field plan?
Overview
Have field plans on your operation that you'd like to record manually as completed activities? You can copy your field plans as completed activities using Granular Insights. Record the actual dates, products and rates for what happened in your fields with no duplicate data entry.
Note: this feature is currently available on web. The mobile functionality is being worked on and will be available as part of the next mobile app release.
Requirements
- A Granular Insights operation with field boundaries
- A planned activity on a field
- An active internet connection
Process - Web
- Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.insights.granular.ag.
- Click Activities on the left navigation menu.
- Locate the field with the planned activity that you would like to complete.
- Click Activities on the right side of the screen to expand the activities view for that field. Click to expand the action menu and select Edit Activity.
- Select the checkbox for Use Planned as Completed and click Save.

Once the activity is completed the activity card will update with a green checkmark to indicate the status change.
- Note: The completed activity will populate with the same date, product, seeding rate and seed treatment as in your plan. If you need to make any updates, click Edit Activity, make your updates, and click Save.
