Editing Activities in Bulk

Correcting on farm data errors is now easier than ever. Using activity filters gives you more simplified views of your activities data, allowing you to make edits more quickly.

 

Process – Web

1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.insights.granular.ag.
2. Click the Activities tab on the left navigation menu.
3. Click on the Activity List toggle. From this view, use the filter options to drill down to the data to be edited.

 

4. Select the fields you want to edit the data for.

Note: Edits will be applied to data for all fields that are selected at one time. Ensure you are only selecting fields that the edit you are making is needed for.

5. Select the type of edit you wish to make from the edit options (Assign to Crop, Bulk Replace Product, Revert to Original) on the bottom right of the screen.

• • Assign to Crop: select the crop that you would like to assign the activity to and click Save.
  • Bulk Replace Product: in the Replace dropdown, select the product you want to replace and in the With dropdown, select the product you want to replace it with. Click Save. With this Bulk Edit option, you can also change to varieties associated with a different crop and it will change the crop assignment.

To view the data once edits are made, in the Data Type filter, select Machine Data (Edited).

• Revert to Original: If for any reason you want to change the data back to its original state (how it came in from the monitor), you have the option to do so by selecting Revert to Original. Any changes made will now be reflected in reports.
