How do I use the Compare Layers feature to view two images side-by-side?
Overview
Easily interpret changes happening over time in your fields by using the Compare Layers feature. You can use this tool to view two images of your field captured on different days or to view the same image through different map layers.
Requirements
- An active Granular Insights account
- Fields uploaded to the operation
Process - Web
- Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.insights.granular.ag.
- From your Field List, click on the field that you would like to view.
- Click on Compare Layers
in the top right corner of the screen. Your screen will now split to show two fields - one on the right side of your screen and one on the left side of your screen.
- Select the desired crop year, and map layer found in the top left corner of each image.
- To view the field information and imagery timeline, click on the arrow located under each field near the bottom of your screen. Use the imagery timeline to select an image from a different date for comparison.
- To return to the normal imagery view, click Exit Comparison on the top right corner of the screen.
Process - Mobile
- Log in to your Granular Insights mobile app.
- From your Field List, select the field that you would like to view.
- Click on the Compare Layers icon
from the top right corner of the screen. Your screen will now split to show two fields - one on the top half of your screen and one on the bottom.
- Select the desired map year and imagery day from the options located under each field image.
- To return to the normal imagery view, click the Compare Layers icon
at the top right corner of the screen.
