Why is there an imagery off-season?
At Granular, our goal is to consistently provide you with the highest quality images. Insights uses images captured from the world's largest constellation of satellites at 3-metre resolution, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., daily.
Image frequency and quality is not high enough for continued imagery during the months of November to March, due to weather and the angle of the sun during those months. All historical imagery will remain available during the off-season period, with regular images resuming in March.
