What happens when I import field boundaries?

Field boundaries can be imported to Granular Insights through a manual field boundary upload or through a wireless integration.

When new field boundaries are imported into Granular Insights, we compare these new boundaries to any existing boundaries on your Granular Insights operation to ensure we are not creating duplicate boundaries.

• If an imported field boundary overlaps an existing field boundary by 80% or more, we will keep the existing field boundary and not add a new field boundary
• If an imported field boundary does not overlap an existing field boundary by at least 80%, we will consider this a new field and will add the boundary to the operation
