Machine Data Upload

Unlock the full power of Granular Insights by uploading machine data to your operation. Granular Insights supports planting, harvest and application data from over 10 manufacturers, so you can analyze the impact of your agronomic decisions at the crop, field and operation level.

Field ops data can be imported to Granular Insights on the web. You cannot upload data using the Granular Insights mobile application. To import field ops data, the files need to be in a zipped folder that is no larger than 10 GB.

 

Process - Web 

1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.insights.granular.ag.
2. Click on Manage Data at the bottom left side of the screen.
3. Drag and drop your files on the grey box at the top of the screen under Upload Files or click Select Files and manually search and choose your file(s) to upload on your computer.
   
   Note:
   By default, Automatically create fields will be turned off. Machine data will only visualize where there are field boundaries available in Granular Insights. You can turn this on using the toggle button at the top right corner of the Manage Data screen. Learn more about automatic field creation.
   
   
   
   
4. A pop-up window will appear for your file upload. In the Upload File window, you can add a short comment or description about the file you are uploading by clicking the icon beside the file name, add additional files to be uploaded and select Preview to be able to review and select the data from the file to be uploaded.
   
   

Note:

If you want to preview the data before it is uploaded, be sure to put a checkmark in the box beside Preview on the bottom right of the Upload Files window.

 

5. Once the Upload Status of the data file(s) is 100%, click Upload Files.
