How do I delete a pinned note?

Overview

Manage the notes and photos on your operation by deleting pins that you no longer need.

Requirements

• An active Granular Insights account
• Active internet or cellular connection 
• Fields uploaded to an operation that you are a member of

Notes:

• Any member of an operation can delete notes and photos that they have added to a field
• Only an admin on the operation can delete notes and photos created by another member of the operation
• If field boundaries are modified, the notes and photos will stay pinned to the field. If a field boundary is deleted, the notes and photos on that field will also be deleted 

Process -  Web

1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.insights.granular.ag. 
2. In the Field List, click on the field with the note you wish to delete.
3. Click on the blue pin that has the note to be deleted.
4. Click on Delete. You will only see the option to delete if you have the correct permission to delete this note on the operation (either admin access or are the user who created it).
5. A window will pop up asking you to confirm if you want to delete the field. Click Confirm to permanently remove the note and pin from your field.

Process - Mobile 

There are two ways to delete a note on the Granular Insights mobile app.

To delete a note from your field map:

1. Log in to your Granular Insights mobile app.
2. In the Field List, select the field that has the note you wish to delete.
3. Click on the blue pin to open the note that you would like to delete.
4. Click the icon on the top right corner of the screen to open the Action menu.
5. Click Delete to permanently remove the note and pin from your field.

To delete a note from the Notes list:

1. Log in to your Granular Insights mobile app.
2. Open the navigation menu and click on Notes.
3. Select the note that you would like to delete.
4. Click the icon on the top right corner of the screen to open the Action menu.
5. Click Delete to permanently remove the note and pin from your field.
