Add Additional Products to your Field Plan

 

Add additional products to a field plan and easily view as separate rows for the field.

 

Process – Web
 

1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.app.granular.ag/.
2. Click Field Plans on the left navigation menu.
3. Select the operation and year that you want to add additional products for.
   
   
   
   Note:
   • To filter down further to specific fields, you can select a year and crop. You can also filter to specific farms/fields or varieties by clicking on Filters. If you are making selections in Filters, ensure you click Apply Filters to save them.
     
     
     
      
4. In the Actions columns, click Edit Plan to add the field plan details.
5. Click the Product dropdown for the field that you want to add a variety for.
6. Click Add Variety at the bottom of the dropdown.
   
   
   
   Notes:
   • When adding varieties to a field plan, Pioneer field team members will see varieties categorized with statuses for a quick inventory reference
   • If multiple products are placed on the field, you will be able to adjust the Product Area
     • You cannot exceed the boundary area when planning products but you are able to under plan
        
7. Select the variety to be added and enter the seeding rate. Units will calculate automatically using the product area and seeding rate entered.
   
   Note:
   • As you adjust the rate, the calculated units will also adjust. If you manually enter an amount for the units, it will no longer be adjusted as the rate is adjusted
      
8. Click the under the Actions column to save. To close without saving, click the . You will now see your varieties in a multi product grid on the Field Plans page.
   
   
   
   Note:
   • If you want to delete any of the additional varieties that have been added to a field plan, click the  icon for that product under the Actions column. If you want to delete the first variety for the field, you will have to clear the crop data.
