How do I add a crop protection activity to my operation?
Enter your crop protection activities in Granular Insights and get one step closer to establishing a single collaborative system of record for capturing work done on the farm.
Requirements
- Be an administrator, advisor, or editor on a Granular Insights operation with field boundaries
- An active internet connection
Process - Web
- Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.insights.granular.ag.
- Click Activities on the left sidebar navigation menu.
- Find the field where you would like to add a crop protection activity, click Activities on the right side of the screen to expand the activities view for that field and click Add Activity, then Crop Protection.
- Choose whether you want to enter a planned or completed activity, then enter the following information:
- Name of the activity, crop, crop season, planned (or completed date), select a product mix (or create a custom mix) and the application rate
- Name of the activity, crop, crop season, planned (or completed date), select a product mix (or create a custom mix) and the application rate
- Click Save when finished.
- Repeat the steps above for all fields you'd like to add an activity to.
Crop protection activities can be added individually or in bulk. To apply a crop protection planned or completed activity to multiple fields at the same time, click the checkbox next to the fields you'd like to bulk add a plan to. From the bulk action menu at the bottom of the screen, click Add Activity and select Crop Protection. From there, follow steps 4-5 above.
Note: at this time, crop protection activities can only be entered using Granular Insights on the web.
