Merge Map Layers
Merge two layers together to combine the geometry and attributes into a single layer view. Map Layers is in beta. Your feedback is appreciated as we continue to enhance and improve this functionality.
Process - Web
- Log in to Granular Insights at https://us.insights.granular.ag.
- Click the Map Layers tab on the left navigation menu.
- Select the field that contains the layers you want to merge.
- Select the layer that you want as the base layer (layer to be merged in to).
- Click the action menu and select Merge other layers with this one.
- Select the layer to be merged into the base layer. The geometry and attributes of this layer will be merged into the base layer to create a new layer.
Note:
-
- MYYA Class, Base Soil, SSURGO, ERU and Soil Test layers cannot be merged in to other layers
- Click Merge Layers.
- Enter a new layer name and click Continue. You will now see the new layer under the Layers list.
