Getting Started: Managing Access & Member Roles in Granular Insights
Overview
You can invite an unlimited number of people to your operation and control their level of access by specifying a role for each individual: Administrator, Advisor, Editor or Viewer.
Administrators have the ability to:
- View fields
- Edit Fields
- Add Fields
- Upload/Download Data
- Enroll Fields in Directed Scouting
- Manage Operation Settings
Advisors have the ability to:
- View Fields
- Edit Fields
- Enroll Fields in Directed Scouting
- Manage agronomy permissions
- Upload/Download data
- Invite Administrators and other Advisors.
*All Pioneer users should have Advisor access.
Editors have the ability to:
- View fields
- Edit fields
- Add fields
- Upload and Download data
- Enroll fields in Directed Scouting
Viewers have the ability to:
Requirements
- An active Granular Insights account.
- Be an administrator on the operation.
- A valid email address or phone number for the person you wish to invite to your operation.
Web - Process
To make changes to access or role levels on the web:
- Login to the Granular Insights website.
- Click on Settings in the bottom left corner.
- Find the user you wish to change and select the desired role from the dropdown menu.
- To remove a member, click the trash can icon at the top right corner of the member card.
Mobile - Process
To make changes to access or role levels on mobile:
- Login to Granular Insights mobile app.
- Open the navigation menu and click Settings.
- Click on Members.
- Click on a member's name from the list to update their role.
- Select the desired role for that user and click Save.
- To remove a user, click Remove Member at the bottom of the screen.
- To exit and return to the Members screen, click the blue back arrow at the top left corner of the screen. You will now be able to see the member's updated role.
