January 2020 Release
Data Editing Tools
U.S Corn and Soybean farmers can utilize new data editing tools in Granular Insights to ensure the accuracy of their data. Harvest files can now be post-calibrated in Dry Yield (bushels per acre) or Wet Weight (pounds). They can also change the crop associated with the Harvest File. Farmers will also be able to update their As-Planted data by changing crop, variety, and seeding rate.
Harvest Data Editing
When selecting 'Edit Field' on the Summary or Field Details page, users will see the following side bar menu to edit harvest data.
Users can change the Harvested Crop from Corn to Soybeans and vice versa.
Users will be able to change the Dry Yield (bu/ac) and the Wet Weight (lbs)
As-Planted Data Editing
When selecting 'Edit Field' on the Summary or Field Details page, users will see the following side bar menu to edit As-Planted data.
Users can change the As-Planted Crop from Corn to Soybeans and vice versa. This change will be accompanied by selecting a variety for that crop.
Users will be able to simply change the planted variety associated with the crop as well as adjust the seeding rate.
Revert Back to Original Machine File
Any edits made to machine data can be 'reverted' or changed back to the original processed data. This allows users to go back to what they originally had in case the edits they made are no longer valid. This is enabled for both As-Planted and Harvest data.
