Connect to Case IH AFS Connect

 

Granular Insights helps you organize your farm's data in one place. Get the most out of your equipment by connecting your Case IH AFS Connect account to import field operations data into Granular Insights for deeper analysis.

 

Process – Mobile

1. Log in to the Granular Insights mobile application.
2. Select the menu bar on the top left of the screen.
3. Select Field Data on the left navigation menu.
4. Select the operation you want to add a note to by clicking the Filters icon on the top right of the screen and click Apply Filters.
5. Select Manage Data on the top of the Field Data page.
6. Select Add Connection. 
7. Select CNH.
8. Select Log in to CNH.
   
   Notes:
   • If you encounter a CNH authorization failed error message, follow the instructions provided in the error message:
     • CNH authorization failed. To fix this, go to the CNH My Farm page, then try to connect again in 15 minutes. You will receive this message if you have created a new account in Case IH AFS Connect that isn't yet available to make a connection. 
     • CNH authorization failed. Please refresh your browser to try again. You will receive this message if there is an error with the browser.
        
9. Enter your CNH login credentials. If your credentials are already stored on your device, you may not be asked to enter them again.
10. Choose your data preferences by toggling Import Boundaries or Primary Boundaries on or off. Click Next to continue.
    
    Notes:
    • If your CNH account has field boundaries that you would like to bring over to Granular Insights, toggle on Import Boundaries on the Data Preferences screen.
      • Machine data will only appear in Granular Insights if there are field boundaries to link to.
    • If you want your CNH boundaries to be the primary boundary source and override the existing boundaries in Granular Insights, toggle on Primary Boundaries on the Data Preferences screen.
      • An export of the existing boundaries in Granular Insights is generated and made available in the Manage Data tab, in Downloads, prior to the CNH boundaries being synched.
      • Changes cannot be made in Granular Insights to synchronized boundaries. This will ensure that the boundaries in Granular Insights and in CNH match.
      • If the operation is also connected to a FieldAlytics grower, note that boundary updates in the John Deere Operations Center will update in FieldAlytics once the boundaries update in Granular Insights.
    • You can turn the Import Boundaries and Primary Boundaries toggles on/off anytime you wish by navigating to the CNH connection card in the Manage Data tab.
       
11. If the Primary Boundaries toggle is on, select whether you want to keep or archive the existing Granular Insights boundaries. Click Enable, Next to continue and then Finish. 
12. Review the connection details to ensure they are correct.

 

Note:

• Please allow up to 24 hours for data to process and come through to Granular Insights.
