Lasso View for Field Layers

With Lasso, you can quickly evaluate the agronomic impact of your in-season decisions at the sub field level. Using Granular Insights on the web, take your analysis one step further and use a side-by-side comparison to easily compare an area of your field across different field layers. Lasso is a great way to dig deeper and gain further insights into field performance.

 

Process – Web

 

  1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.app.granular.ag.
  2. Click Map on the left navigation menu.
  3. Select the operation that you want to analyze field layers for using Lasso.
  4. Click the layer icon beside the field where you want to access the layers.
  5. Click a layer that you want to analyze.

    Note:
    •  
      • You can type key words in the search field to filter to the layer you are looking for.


         
  6. Click Map Tools on the top right of the map and toggle Draw Lasso on.


     
  7. You will now see the Lasso drawing tools on the map. You have four different tools available to help draw the desired area on your field:
    •  
      •  
        • Polygon
        • Rectangle
        • Circle
        • Freeform

          Lasso the section that you want to target for your analysis.

Note:

If there are any edits needed to the lasso area once it has been drawn, click once on the area to activate area editing before saving and make any adjustments or double click if it has already been saved.




 

9. Once you have the lasso area drawn how you want it, click Apply Lasso on the left.



 

10. The activity details information on the left side of the screen will display values specifically for the area you have drawn.



 

11. When finished with the Lasso view, toggle Draw Lasso off to return to the normal view.
