Compare Two Field Layers Side-by-Side
View two field layers side-by-side to easily compare field performance.
Process – Web
- Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.app.granular.ag.
- Click Map on the left navigation menu.
- Select the operation that you want to compare field layers for.
- Click the layer icon
beside one of the fields that you want to use to compare.
- Click on a layer to select it as the “base” layer to compare to.
- Click Map Tools on the top right of the map and toggle Compare Layers to on. Your screen will now split to show two fields - one on the right side of your screen and one on the left side of your screen.
- Below each image, select the desired crop year and field layer to be compared.

- You can change the information for both layers directly from the compare page.

- To see an expanded view of the field information, click on the arrow located above the layer name, for each layer.
Note:-
- Clicking this arrow gives you three view options: fully expand the information window, collapse it or view it in the half window view (default).
- You can use the Lasso tool while in Compare Layers view. Click Map Tools and toggle on Lasso. Once you've drawn your subfield shape, you will see it reflected on both map layers in your compare view.

- When finished with the compare view, toggle Compare Layers off to return to the normal view.
