Yield estimation (ear photometry) now available

Manually counting kernels and calculating yields across dozens of fields is both time-consuming and prone to human error. With the Yield Estimates (ear photometry) feature now available on the Insights mobile app, you’ll be able to generate yield estimates simply by snapping photos of corn ears and running a yield estimate, right in the field.

This isn’t just about saving time—it’s about helping you get ahead of harvest. With more accurate expectations before harvest begins, you can plan your logistics with greater confidence and make informed decisions, sooner. It means fewer surprises, better timing, and a smoother start when the combines hit the field—all backed by reliable, data-driven insights.

Reports: Operation Growing Season Report now available

The Operation Growing Season Report helps you understand the full story of your season. By pinpointing the specific deviations where heat accumulation (GDUs) outpaced critical rainfall, you get a clearer picture of how this season's environmental stressors impacts results—helping you make more confident, informed decisions for the next season.

Field Layers: new machine data layers available

A yield map shows you what happened in your field, but with additional machine data layers, you can now understand why it happened.

You can see key details like planter performance (downforce, singulation, skips) and harvest quality metrics like protein and starch levels. That means when you spot a drop in yield, you can connect it back to what was happening in the field—whether it was inconsistent planting conditions or equipment performance—so you can make more informed decisions moving forward.
