Granular Insights Mobile App Overview

 

The Granular Insights mobile app is a hybrid app that includes both offline-capable functionality that is built natively (available offline or with limited connectivity) and some online-only features requiring an internet connection to access (web views).

Native features to the Granular Insights app are available offline or with limited connectivity. Before working in low/no connectivity areas, we recommend that you download the operations to your device. This will ensure you have access to the operation data, including field layers and notes, when you need them.

• Multi-Op Map View and Field List (available for Corteva and Pioneer team members)
• Field Layers (requires connectivity to load the layer initially)
• Structured Notes

After working in offline mode, to help ensure any notes you’ve taken while offline are saved and available on both the web and the app, plug your device in when possible, connect to strong Wi-Fi, and open the app to allow syncing to complete.
 

Web view features require internet access to use. These features are:

• Field Data
• Manage Data
• Operation Settings
• My Profile
• Fungicide Timing

When you change your role in My Profile, the app begins syncing data for that role. You will see a sync bar while the sync is in progress. Sync runs in reverse chronological order (newest to oldest), and an internet connection is required for the sync to complete successfully.
