In-Season Monitoring Dashboard
View and analyze weather data (accumulated precipitation, Growing Degree Units (GDUs) and solar radiation since planting) for your fields to monitor in-season crop progression, see corn development progress, and anticipate key growing stage dates such as silking or black layer.
Process – Web
- Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.app.granular.ag.
- Click My Profile on the left navigation menu to verify that you are on the correct role profile. If you are not, click Switch to this Role to select the role you want to work with.
- Click the In-Season Monitoring tab.
Notes:- A planting date and supported products are required for data (factor cards) to display on the In-Season Monitoring Dashboard
- If a field is irrigated, it can be quickly identified as it will have a raindrop icon beside the field name
- The option to filter to irrigated or non-irrigated fields is available by clicking on Filters and making the selection in the Irrigation Status field; click Apply Filters to view the fields

- In-Season Monitoring records data based on the following criteria:
- Will use machine data or a manually completed activity, if available. If not, will use a planned planting activity
- First, looks for the supported product that has the largest area, for fields with more than one product
- Then, looks for the earliest recorded planting date, for fields with multiple planting dates for the product
- Will use machine data or a manually completed activity, if available. If not, will use a planned planting activity
- It takes up to 48 hours for the factor cards to become available once the planting date and supported product are placed on a field
- if the field is not assigned a supported product, the product will show as Unsupported Variety; factors will show as Factors Unsupported and the dropdown will not expand
- Apply desired filter/sort options.

Filters - Farm and/or Variety
- Click the arrow at the end of the field row, beside Factors to view precipitation, GDU and solar radiation weather data. To expand all the fields at once and see the factor cards, click Expand All at the end of the column name row. To hide all the factor cards, click Collapse All. You can quickly see the total accumulated GDUs and precipitation compared to the 5-year average in the GDU and precipitation columns of the dashboard as well as the growth stage that the field is at.
Notes:- Data can be viewed as insights or in a graph
- You can select one of the five previous planting seasons (years) to compare the current season to, under the Season to Compare field on the factor card
- Where there are multiple planting dates for a field, the earliest planting date recorded for the field will be displayed as the Planting Date.
- Predicted dates that the field will reach key growth stages as well as the expected GDUs is displayed on the GDU factor card
- Clicking Learn more will take you to the Help Center for additional resources
- To view notes that have been taken on a field, click Notes under the Notes column on the field row. You will be able to see current and historical notes.
Note:- For notes to be available to view in In-Season Monitoring, the notes must be entered from the mobile app or in Insights on the Web, on the Map tab or in Field Layers.
