Trials Layer Analysis

 

Analyze treated vs non-treated areas as well as multi-year assessments and integrate more attributes (e.g. yield, seeding rate summaries, moisture) to take a deeper look at product performance and gain a better understanding of management factors captured within a trial.

 

Process – Web

  1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.app.granular.ag.
  2. Click Map on the left navigation menu.
  3. Select the operation that you want to do a Trials layer analysis for.
  4. Click the layer icon beside the field you want to analyze the Trial layer for.
  5. Click on the Trials layer to be analyzed.
  6. Click the Edit menu for the layer and select Analyze.
  7. Name the Analysis layer.


     
  8. Click Add Data + to select the year and crop that you want to analyze. 


     
  9. Select the attributes for each year/crop that you want to use for the analysis.

    Note:
    • Attribute selection is limited to 5 attributes between all year/crops.


       
  10. To add additional layers to the Trials analysis, click Modify Trial. Select the layer(s) you want to include for the analysis.



    Note:
    • You can use Buffer (ft) to add additional area for the analysis if necessary. The default buffer is zero.
       
  11. Click Analyze to create the treatment analysis.
  12. To view the results, click Expand Attributes on the bottom right of the page.

    Notes:
    • Your new Trials Analysis layer will now show in the layers list for this field, for the crop/year it was created for.
    • If you need to edit the Trials layer analysis data, you can do so by clicking the Edit menu for the layer again and selecting Edit Layer.
