Add a Check Strip to a Variable Rate Seeding (VRS) Zone

 

Validate VRS (Variable Rate Seeding) recommendations using a check strip in the zone.

 

Process – Web

1. Log in to Granular Insights for Canada at https://ca.app.granular.ag.
2. Click the VRS tab on the left navigation menu.
3. Select the operation with the field to add a check strip to. 
4. Navigate to the field that you want to add a check strip to.
5. Click the Decision Zone dropdown.
   
   
    
6. Click the View Map icon for the decision zone you want to add a check strip for.
   
   
    
7. Click the Edit dropdown and click Edit Layer.
   
   
   
   Note:
   • If you want to make your layer with the check strip easier to identify, rename your decision zone.
     
     
      
8. Using the drawing tools, draw the desired shape.
   
   
    
9. Use the Punch tool to set the shape.
   
   
    
10. Click Save. Check strips will be visible for use in VRS.
    
    
    
    Note:
    • You can also add check strips by accessing the decision zone layer from the Map tab. Click the layer icon beside the field that where you want to add a check strip to and select the layer for the check strip. Add the check strip to the layer and save.
